Spring is Here!
As temperatures warm and flowers begin to bloom we are excited for Spring to return and enter our last grading period of the 2015-2016 school year!

Mrs. Dukes will begin maternity leave at the latest on Monday March 21st, 2016 and return to school on Tuesday May 31st, 2016. During this time please email her questions or concerns you have and remember to patient and understanding in her response time.

Parents/Guardians: Please be reminded that you will receive information in your student's yellow communication folders daily to assist with communication from school to home. If you are sending money or important notes back to Mrs. Dukes please also make sure the student understands to turn them in to Mrs. Dunbar or Mr. Finnerty while she is on maternity leave!

Please be reminded that this year our classroom has moved into the main building so drop off and pick up procedures have changed. Students who are dropped off may enter the front right hand side door only with the use of their light blue hall pass provided by Mrs. Dukes and between the time of 8:00-8:25. Please assist us in helping your student learn this new route independently as Mrs. Dunbar will be on bust duty and Mrs. Dukes will be with students in our classroom (301). After school, our group will be stationed at the same location in the front loop to assist with loading cars. Please be respectful of our school visitation policies and if you need to drop off an item for a student visit the Attendance Office on the first hall instead of bringing it tot he classroom. Also, you may not enter our classroom without a Visitor's Pass betweent he hours of 8:00-3:30 for safety reasons as well as it can be distracting to our students learning environment and daily routine. If you need to meet with Mrs. Dukes please contact her to set up a parent teacher conference during her planning period or before or after school.

We have an exciting semester full of Project Unify events, new cooking lessons, Buddy Club events, and more and look forward to a successful second semester! Please feel free to contact Mrs. Dukes via email at
